Guest guest
It all depends on the ingredients of the supplement. Check the list of active and non-active ingredients carefully. Chondritin and glucosamine are like any other supplement -- some people will tolerate them and some will not. And sometimes you don't know that a supplement is causing a delay in healing until you stop taking them for a while. Much depends on the ingredients of the supplement. If you post the brand name of the supplement, or the list of active and non-active ingredients, we can tell for sure whether it is SCD-legal. Kim M. Guest guest
Cosamin DS looks OK, although I couldn’t confirm the listing that is on the bottle label. None of the sources I checked gave a complete summary of the inactive ingredients (if there are any), just the active ingredients. You may want to check the bottle. If it contains something other than “Glucosamine Hydrochloride - Chondroitin Sulfate - Sodium - Vitamin C - Manganese ” then let us know the other ingredients. The ones I copied and pasted are all OK while on SCD, although that is no guarantee that it will be tolerated. However if your husband is doing OK with this supplement so far, than that is fine. I would probably not take this every day, as the doses are a bit high, but that’s me [grin]. Kim M.
