The disadvantage is that on a battery at 2 lit. continous the battery only lasts about 2 1/2 hours. I have 2 batteries, a dc power supply to use in car, and ac power supply. I take this to work with me also, it is on a little cart with two wheels. Have to get use to it in the snow though.
