help, breath smells like 7 kinds of evil

I'm 4 days post-op...swelling looks to be subsiding somewhat, but the

inside of my mouth tastes (and no doubt smells) like something

absolutely disgusting.

To be expected, I guess, since I don't have any real way to keep it

clean. What do y'all do to stay smelling somewhat fresh? All I've

been doing is diluting some regular Scope mouthwash, uzing a

ZipnSqeeze to get it in my mouth, then letting it dribble out.

Sounds definately like an infection. My doctor gave me some special

mouth wash to use and a baby toothbrush. Also an antibiotic. You

should call your doctor.

I don't know about an infection. I would call your OS, but day 4-5 was about

when I had

terrible breath as well. My husband told me that my breath smelled like death.

I think

it was from the drainage/blood that we have going on. I asked my OS and he said

that I

could use diluted Scope if needed. I would just do what you can, but call your

OS and

check it out as well.
