Guest guest
Hi Kamil, Welcome to our group. I will try and answer some of your question. As far as I know, Norditropin is just as good as any other brand of growth hormone. My son take Genotropin. The dosage depends on your daughter's weight. I am not a docotr so I cannot tell you if your daughter is getting the correct dosage. Yes, the growth hormone should help her final height. Most doctors here in the USA prescribe a lower dose but give it daily, since that more closly mimicks how your body produces it. AS for specialists, there are few. There is a Dr. Wolman in Germany. Sorry, I do not know his exact location. There is a Dr. Stanhope at the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, England and there is Dr. Harbison in NY, NY USA. Please tell us more about your daughter. How big is she? How is her appetite? Again, welcome to our group and I hope we can answer all your questions. I have a seven yeas old daughter who has rss and now for the past six months the indo following up her case put her on gh, she gained some height. The dose is 4 times a week, sat, sun tues and wed, it started of with 8 IU p/w, 2.6 mg p/w, and now she takes 12p/w and from Jan 06 she will take 16 units p/w. the gh is norditopin by a company called novo nordisk, ever heard of it? is it good? Is there a better product? Can anyone tell me what is the recommended does for her age? Is it going to have an effect on her overall final height? Since we live in Oman, in the middle east, there are hardly any doctors specialized in rss, again does any one know of a good clinic around, although I haven't heard of any, what are the good clinics in the US, far east, India, or Europe, anyone knows? Guest guest
Kamil, If you want to stay in Europe, go to see Dr. Stanhope at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. He and Dr. Harbison in NYC are the best in the world for RSS. Of course, you could always come to New York.... Jodi Z
