Guest guest
Did the redness fade? If it did, I'd put the DOC Band back on. If it did not, it's best for it to be off this weekend until you can call CT on Monday. Losing a day or two is better than losing more time if there is skin issues. My son's skin is very sensitive, too. I hope all is OK with yours. Robyn > > Last night when I took off my sons doc band there is a red kinda raised/ swollen area on the back of his head. The area is about the size of a dime. It is still red the area had gone down slightly in size. I don't know what to do. Of course it's the weekend and there is no one at ct to call and ask. My son has very sensative skin. His band had been off since 7:00 last night. Any help would be great. Thank you. >
Guest guest
Some babies get raised lymph nodes. It doesn't sound like heat rash. If you do put the band back on (if it has faded enough) do frequent checks to make sure it doesn't flare up. The safest thing is always to leave it off until you can get it checked. Don't worry about missing a day or two. -christine sydney, 4 yrs, starband grad > > Last night when I took off my sons doc band there is a red kinda raised/ swollen area on the back of his head.
