Guest guest
Well, here I am...a four year graduate as of today! Can I complain...not one bit! I have been through many ups & downs. Seen the big losses and those slight gains that scare us so much. I went from 364 lbs to a low of 162. I have landed in the 164 to 168 range and will not complain about those little variations. Could I lose down to my wished for goal wt...sure, but I am to busy living my life now to push for that number on the scale. I am healthy (since my recent gallbladder removal), happy, and feeling more like a normal person than I ever have. At the time that I decided to have this surgery, I was truly fighting for my life. I was so depressed that I had constant thoughts of just getting it over with and did not want to continue living a life that was looking worse day after day. The only thing that stopped me was my love for my family. This surgery gave me my life back in so many ways! I will forever be thankful that I was led to this life giving procedure, that I had a surgeon who was blessed with the ability to do this surgery, and that I had a family who supported me in the pre op as well as the post op changes that I went through. I want to thank this list for all of the love, support and information that you have given me. You are a part of my family now and I honestly don't know where I would be if it weren't for you. With my heartfelt gratitude, Reba in Auburn, AL
