Guest guest
Hi , I checked that website and couldn't find the tables you mentioned. Can you be more specific? 12 days is early on in the recovery period. The best way I can describe the return of sensation is: First you see change in days, then in weeks, then in months, then in years. Everyone's recovery is different, but it really can take a long, long time for full nerve recovery. Keep in mind that the residual numbness may be nothing more than something that feels like the last vestiges of dental freezing (or novocaine, for Americans). You'll be able to feel, but you'll have a slight tingling feeling. My own surgeon gave the longest time frame I've heard of here, 5-7 years for full nerve recovery. I guess he didn't want me to keep coming back asking " when? " Having had an impacted wisdom tooth removed (lower) years ago, I can attest to the fact that more feeling can return after even 6 or 7 years. Hope that helps, > I am 12 days post op from a top and bottom jaw, gummy smile and my > chin. Guest guest
Hi Thank you so much for trying to look it up for me. http://www.trivita.com/testimonials.asp?prodid=1043 & tref=11349828 is exactly where I found it. I hope you can find it as well as it looks very promising. It scares me to think I will have numbness on my nose and lips for so long and it makes me more determined to find something that I can take to help my nerves grow faster. I am not fuss about my chin, but everything else I am getting impatient. I hate kissing my boys ( I have a 3 and 7 year old)and not been able to feel anything. > > I am 12 days post op from a top and bottom jaw, gummy smile and my > > chin. Guest guest
Hi , Sorry for the delay in replying to this! I checked the link, and have never heard of this before. If you're open to trying things, you could be the group's guinea pig : ) My current preferred treatment is acupuncture (Japanese), but I forgot to ask about whether this would help nerve recovery. I'll have to put a sticky note on my datebook to remind me for next time (3 weeks from now). What I can say about it is that it has been very effective for me in getting circulation going in places that I didn't know it wasn't flowing. I'm still undergoing treatment so I'll have to see how I fare afterwards, but right now, I am really delighted with the results. It's definitely something worth checking into if you're open to alternative therapies, but again, I have no information as to whether it's helpful for nerve problems. Hope that helps, > Hi > Thank you so much for trying to look it up for me. > > http://www.trivita.com/testimonials.asp?prodid=1043 & tref=11349828 is > exactly where I found it. Guest guest
Hi , I think I will see if I can find something like it here in Australia as I tried to get them to try them and it has been mission impossible. the Australian government is very strict with letting you order things from overseas, so I am going to see if I can find an alternative. Thank you so much for you input into accupunture, I am definetly into all natural and alternative medicines, so I will look into it. I am having some treatment at the moment from japan to do with massaging your spine which brings relief to all sorts of body parts and organs and that is going very well. the treatment is called Ceragem Master and its a bed you lie down and the heat and rollers massages the sides of your spine. I will keep you post it. Thanks again, Take care, > > Hi > > Thank you so much for trying to look it up for me. > > > > http://www.trivita.com/testimonials.asp? prodid=1043 & tref=11349828 > is > > exactly where I found it.
