Guest guest
Greetings everyone... Today was consumed with the Shriners. The kind men came knocking at my door at 9:30am to pick us up for the 3 hour drive. Once we got there our kids were in a bad mood.. but what else can you expect? The wait was forever! The must have overbooked or something. But we finally were seen... they were able to get the mood they couldn't get in the last visit for the genetic testing. They took more xrays of 's leg.. and the doc said they don't want to put her under the knife yet. They want to see us in about 6 months when she's around 1 year old. I did find out that she's 11.8 pounds and 23 inches (that's her long side). Over all things went well... it just makes for such a long day. We arrived home around 8:00 pm, and we quickly put kids to bed and enjoy some silence. I'm happy to hear that she doesn't need surgery right away... but it's hanging over our heads. The doc said since her foot didn't turn much with the casts, it looks like they will have to cut the tight tendons so her foot will be in a normal position. Now it's back to life as 'normal'..... Oh yes... is finally rolling over... both ways! Now we can't keep her on the blankets! She has also found her voice... she loves to screech... it's cute now.. but i hope it doesn't turn in to screaming! On.. enough for now.. Love to all, Pickett
