Guest guest
, STARband is top notch. My daughther has be in her STARband since 10/30/2009 and the results are amazing. Her head shape has improved dramtically and her facial assymetry has improved as well. The only thing that I would have preferred would to have used an Orthotist with a STARscanner. Although, measurements do not tell the whole story it would be nice to have a more exact detail of them. You can visit our website at www.alexandrasphate.org to find out more information. WE have started a foundation to educate families about torticollis, plagiocephaly and cranial remolding orthoses. Keep checking back here. This group really helped us through things. I did the free evaluation with Cranial Tech in ndale, VA and was pleased with the service. I read up on the DOC band and it does seem to be the best product, but if Starband can do the same at a considerable cost savings, then we'll give it a try. Just wanted to see if anyone had good (or less than desirable) results with Starband. -- Tate Jr.www.andrasPHATE.org412-860-4557gary@... Guest guest
We have been extremely happy with our Starband. We ended up with better results than we would have with a Doc band since we were able to keep it on much longer. The key with a Starband is a recommended ortho. Check the references of the Starband ortho carefully. Our ortho came highly recommended. -Kathy Cachie wrote: I know this question has circulated before, but just throwing it out again: my BCBS won't cover the DOC, but will cover StarBand.
