Guest guest
I've taken Uva Ursi on 2 different occasins since starting SCD. The second time seems to have corrected my imbalance....thank goodness! I can't recall the strand of bacteria that I dealt with without looking back in my records. I read to only take the Ursi for a short term. I took it each day for 2 weeks each time. My GI recommended it when I told him that I was only looking to heal using natural means rather than prescriptions. Good luck! Holly O. Crohn's 5/09 SCD 9/1/09 no meds My CDSA test showed that I have about the same amount of yeast I did 2 years ago.And now I have two funky bacteria that are overgrowing in the mix: Citrobacter Freundii and Serratia marcescensAnd negligible Lactobacillus. The good news is that all 3 pathogens look responsive to Uva Ursi and plant tannins.Has anyone tried either one of these ?Sue RBad Bugs 8, Me 0 -- Holly
