the resolve to be more disciplined

also.

& amp;nbsp; & amp;nbsp; & amp;nbsp; & amp;nbsp; & amp;nbsp; & amp;nbsp; Are you thinking

you need more fiber? & amp;

nbsp; I use, and LOVE the product " Benefiber " made by Exlax. & amp;nbsp; It is a

white

powder that has absolutely NO taste and NO texture. & amp;nbsp; I mix it into my

protein shakes and cannot tell it's there. & amp;nbsp; It can be mixed into any

beverage or food. & amp;nbsp; One woman in my support group actually mixes it into

her

water bottle everyday ... she swears you can't tell it's in there (I'm not sure

I

believe that one, though!).

Dave, I go at least 4-5x most days. I would encourage you to skip the

Metamucil - as an RN I tell patients to avoid it as it often turns to

concrete in the bowel and causes added problems!! I would up the fiber

if you are not getting enough; fiber is great as it helps with both

constipation and diarrhea and normalizes the bowel. Another option is

Citrucel - it is great in that it " coats " the gut and provides a

protective coating while doing its job.

Good Luck!!

poop too often

I've noticed lately that I poop more often and it's annoying. Sometimes

it's just gas. But, I go to the bathroom, think I'm " done, " and then

have to go back 10 minutes later. I know that no half and half in my

coffee and absolutely no sugar would help. I also suspect that taking

Metamucil several times a day might help, but I haven't tried these

things. I'm in the first stage of poop grief which is sitting around

bitching and moaning about it, and not actually trying to do anything.

Anyone else notice this?

I may, just may, have to get more disciplined about this WLS stuff.

Ok....just my 2 cents. My pooping or excessive pooping is a direct result of

what I am eating. The more simple carbs I eat the more pooping I do.
