Guest guest
Past Convention Goers-- Some of you may have noticed Kim Lockwood--big guy-can't miss him!, division consultant for the Panhypopitutiary/Tumor Division, carrying his adorable, brown eyed, smiling daughter Emma, at past conventions. Emma had a host of issues, including CP. But, her smile and the love her family showed her, was a real lesson to those of us who saw them every July. She had been adopted, when she was 1 week old, by Kim and his wonderful family--they adopt or take care of many children who have had challenges. Emma died on Monday night. Kim is a dear man, and for those of you who might remember him, even though he is with another MAGIC division, thought you would want to see his email below. His address: 9389 Santa St., Ventura, CA 93004; aol email is: emtlock@.... - Katy ------------------------------------------------------------- Greetings: It is with the deepest sadness and the greatest joy that I must announce the passing of baby Emma. Emma went into the hospital late Monday evening and received her wings at 6:20pm Tuesday in my arms. Emma came into our lives when she was 6 days old and passed on at 2 years 11 months. To my MAGIC friends, I want to extend a very personal THANKS for all your patience with Emma attending meetings and conferences. You have let her have a great experience other kids in her situation would not have. I know she will miss you. Services are tentative set for Thursday February 16 at 11:30 at the Ivy Lawn Cemetery.
