Hi! Thanks! Yes, she was just 2 days old and that picture was taken

right before we left the hospital, and can you believe they wanted to

send us home the day before?? I said NO, I stayed the full 2 days

permitted. Summer only needed a little oxygen at birth but was full

term just very little so they said she was fine. 2 days after this

picture, she was home and turned totally blue and stopped breathing

during nursing and was admitted to the NICU for a week. (THat is why I

think 2 days hospital stays are not enough) She had malacia, reflux,

and coordination issues with breathing and eating and would turn blue

and desat. She eventually outgrew the malacia and coordination issues

(YIPEE). It was tough for a while after the NICU because I had no

monitors to track to watch her oxygen, I had to watch her at all times

during feeds to make sure she wasn't turning blue and had my hand on

her chest to monitor breaths during feeding. Even when I knew she was

struggling adn would pull her off of feeding instantly, she would begin

to turn blue, gasp, struggle, then pass out. It was horrible but

apparently normal for her issues then.
