Guest guest
Yes, we must be the same.... everyone else is supposed to be patient except for me because I have OCS. ha ha I think in my upbringing I learned that theoretically the world doesn't revolve around my immediate and pressing every need, but that doesn't stop me from thinking the world needs to change because it should! Between the two of us, however, it wouldn't know on which axis to turn. Sigh.... It's hard to see it this way, but it is reassuring that they are being so careful with your case. You want that! You don't want someone overconfident and cavalier.... even though you'd get some kind of results faster.... regardless, waiting is tough business. Oh, I too have totally dropped into my OS office wondering if he couldn't just squeeze me in to take a quick peek??? And then pouring thank yous all over the place like rose petals on my way out for everyone being so kind for accomodating me and fitting me in that day. Ha HA Fortunately both your OS and my OS are nice and are willing to actually see us right then and there! I'm glad your surgeon is being really supportive of you, and I read in another one of your posts that your father is also being supportive and finally getting the picture. It is really really hard dealing with people that don't get it. This process has enough of a psychological component and toll on one's emotions without constantly having to defend and justify one's self to those around them. I know what that is like, so I'm glad your father's on your bandwagon now. Good! Ok, well I'm still sitting on my hands, except for typing this, hoping you get your appt. at UNC right away! Take care! Katja > > > > > I am so disappointed. I went for my consult today thinking > > that > > > I > > > > > would be scheduling the braces, but I was wrong.
