Thaks, Bruce. If all else fails, we are going to one of the "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" places.

BarbaraI was all ready to recommend good but then you popped the wordreasonable in. I'd have to warn you too that this time of year inAtlanta you do not want to get caught in mall traffic. I remember taking3 hours once to go from Emory to Lenox Square which is where my all timefavorite Seafood restaurant, The Fish Market, is located. Hopefully Janeor Joe and Joanie will pop up with some recommendations close to Emory.>> I have an appointment tomorrow at Emory - just more PFTs and a visitwith the doc. Because the roads are so bad in the mornings due to icingovernight, we are gonna go this afternoon and stay overnight. Anyonehave suggestion(s) for a good and reasonable place to eat for

Bruce - I googled the Varsity Downtown - looks like the Beacon Diner in Spartanburg. I'll keep it in mind for the future. Thanks.

Mike was an ER nurse for twenty years. We are watching him closely, and if the headache worsens, or some other symptom appears, you can bet we will be calling the rescue squad to get us to the ER.

Thanks!

BarbaraIf he lost consciousness even for "two seconds" he must get to adoctor/ER now...today. ...not tomorrow, today. It sounds like he veryprobably has a concussion and they need to determine the seriousness ofone if he has one. This isn't something to be taken lightly and laughand say my head is harder than the pavement or that its just a headacheand I'll be fine. Please see that he goes.>>> >I have an appointment tomorrow at Emory - just more PFTs and a visitwith the doc. Joyce -

Thanks for the concern. If it were a simple matter of just putting him in the car and driving to the ER, I would try to overcome his reluctance to go. As it is, we'd need to call Rescue to get us out of here, because the road just past our driveway is covered with ice, and I do not drive well on ice. My driving would be adding more danger to the situation. Add to that the fact that he seems to be doing okay so far -- but I am watching him closely and would not hesitate to call Rescue if necessary.
