Was the surgery worth it? Any regrets? Surgery in Kaiser- Oakland?

I have been reading a lot about people's recovery and some have had it

better than others. I'm wondering if people think the results were

worth going through a long and sometimes not so pleasant recovery. Is

everyone happy with their results? Any regrets? How did it change

your overall appearance?

I'm thinking of having surgery but I'm undecided because I'm only

doing it for cosmetic reasons (I have a gummy smile that I'm very self

conscious about). My orthodontist and surgeon both agree that I would

benefit from the surgery but my surgeon also told me that it will

change my apperance " drasticly " Scary!

Also, has anyone had their surgery in Kaiser of Oakland, CA?
