Guest guest
Miranda, Merry Christmas!!!! I am so HAPPY for you! You sound great! Your breathing!! It brings tears to my eyes, that you have been given this awesome gift. My 20 year-old daughter doesn't even know any of you in this group and I called to tell her about "your call and that you came through okay" and she was excited too! I am still amazed by God's work and how modern medicine can save our lives so effortlessly it seems. Thanks too for the expert surgeons you must have had and to the person who was willing to give up his organ to give life to someone else. It just all touches my heart right now. You are so young and now have your whole life ahead of you to play with your children and breathe the air they breathe....wow. Dr. Raghu says I can be listed as soon as I lose 30lbs. I'm working at it. Guest guest
Miranda, I am so happy for you! As I write this reply, I am waiting for my " call " ! I just hope that everything goes as well for me as it obviously has for you! You've had a great gift and you have the perfect outlook!!! I've been following " your " postings ever since you first let us all know that you got " the call " . Isn't it just incredible how much support all of our " air family " provides us via this online group? I've been stting here today watching the storm rage outside - we are currently under a winter storm warning here in New Hampshire. Schools are closed, the snow is falling and we are supposed to get up to a foot today! So naturally, when we saw the forecast, my wife and I both decided that today would be when I get my " call " ...LOL Congratulations on your new lungs and keep up the good work recuperating!!!!
