Guest guest
Hi Angelina! I hope you're feeling better today. Maybe you overdid it a little at the gym yesterday. I haven't done anything really strenuous yet but my surgeon had told me not to do any exercise or swimming until I was at least 6-8 weeks post-op. I did make it to the mall yesterday to buy school clothes for my daughter. Poor thing is going to have such a boring wardrobe this year. They have to wear navy blue or khaki. After this surgery and lost work hours, I can't afford to buy her anything beyond the required school clothes. Lucky for me, she doesn't care what she wears as long as it's not girly-girl dresses. I was exhausted afterwards and took a long nap on the couch when I got home. Part of the exhaustion for me is also the meds I'm still on. My OS wants me to take Flexeril (a muscle relaxant) three times a day plus hydrocodone so I can do really aggressive stretching exercises. It's working (I got to 25 mm last night!) but it makes me feel sleepy all the time. I hate that feeling but it shouldn't be much longer. I hope you have a good day at work today and bulldoze that fever away!
