I like the Zucchini Muffin recipe in BTVC book. I use half the

amount of honey.

Lately, I have been making Lois Lang Bread, also in BTVC book.

It is unsweetened and I bake it in 2 mini loaf pans lined with parchment. After

the loaves cool I slice it thinly and place on parchment paper on a dehydrator

rack and dehydrate until crispy. They make awesome, crunchy crackers,

especially if you add minced garlic or legal garlic powder. You could probably

add dried herbs for herbed crackers. Hmmm, I’ll have to try that next…

Hi everyone! I'm looking for recommendations

for yummy non sweet nut

breads or muffins. I want something that I can just spread some butter

on and eat, since I still need to cut down on my honey/fruit intake.

It can have herbs or spices, etc... in it, just no honey =) And no

cheese preferably, since that's still out for the time being =(

Ooh! I highly recommend the focaccia recipe in Raman Prasad's cookbook, Recipes

for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. Yum! Do you have the book?

I strongly second this. It is amazing. To me, it had the consistency of homemade

cornbread but tasted so amazing.

In reference to Raman Prasad's focaccia recipe, no, his book is copyright

protected. We would have to get permission from him.
