Guest guest
If you go to Bayer.com you will probably be able to get a meter and some strips for free. joyce nne,It very well could be. I've had Type II Diabetes since 1996 and I can tell when my surgar is high I can be more tired than usual. Falling "asleep" at my computer was a symptom also of my need for more CPAP pressure and now I take Provigil which really helps. You can usually get a blood sugar monitor for next to nothing on sale at walgreens or cvs and it will come with a small supply of the check strips. I would get one and test yourself before lunch and then about 1.5 hours after and take those results to your doctor.Dyane, 54, Phoenix, IIP 02 now NSIP 09, Breast Cancer, Psoriasis, Lipodermatosclerosis, Diabetes, and now a RA like autoimmune component, yadda yadda yadda."Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving is a pretty, well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, chocolate in one hand, Margaritas in the other, loudly proclaiming "Holy **** What a ride!".">> Hi everyone,> I haven't posted in awhile- since finding out I have Sjogren's,RA, and polymyosiitis I've been lurking on CTD and Sjogren's sites. So far, 40mg prednisone and Methotrexate are keeping everything under control. I have been noticing the past week that whenever I eat anything within a half hour I either fall asleep or if I am at work, I feel very drowsy-not always nodding off but getting close. After I "wake up" I start to sweat a lot. My sugar is 105 at last blood test but could it be diabetes? If anyone has any thoughts- I'd appreciate it.> nne 55,ILD 6/09, CTD-10/09>
