Guest guest
Kim I am the last person you want to ask this question to!!! LOL I got a whole new internet system because of that. Now I am using both and still getting emails out of order!! UGH> sometimes I think it's just my head is not on right. Maybe I need to vote for the Seahawks (who ever THEY are!!) LOL Deb problems with emails Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problems I am receiving the daily digests from the listserve. I have had problems for a few months now. At first, I wasn't getting any of the daily digests which happened all of a sudden. Now I get some of them, but I get them out of order. So, I end up reading replies to messages I never saw in the first place, and it gets very confusing to keep up with what's going on. I really don't have time to go to the website to read each message individually. Is this happening to anyone else? Or does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this problem? Kim C. Guest guest
Yes, Kim! I am having the same problems! I'm getting duplicates as well. I'll read something that was sent three days ago today and then it will be in my email again tomorrow! Weird! Thanks for bringing it up! Guest guest
I am also having problems with late, out of order, and duplicate messages (I also receive the messages in digest form). Today I got 2 digests from Friday, one from Saturday and one from today... but they were #3382, 3384, 3385 & 3387! I am on other lists too, and have also been receiving late digests from them, so I guess it must be a system-wide problem with . It is frustrating though - hard to follow all that is going on & I just don't post comments because I figure by the time I have read the digest, they had already been alot of comments similar to what I would have made......... in Alaska RSS-Support wrote: Date: Sat, 4 Feb 2006 19:12:36 -0500 From: kimc Subject: problems with emails Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problems I am receiving the daily digests from the listserve. Guest guest
I have often wondered about this, and think it may have something to do with time zones. This email comes from Australia and it is monday evening, but some of you will recieve it on sunday evening, or Monday morning, depending where you are in the world. if your email program sorts your emails by date and time they were sent, then this may explain why you recieve answers, before you recieve questions. If only we had ALL the answers, BEFORE we needed them!!! Best wishes Damian > Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problems I am > receiving the daily digests from the listserve.
