Regina, I think the reason there are no FIL jokes is because it's much easier to

pick on MILs .. you know how women are ALWAYS easier targets, and it's become

such a tradition now, the MIL thing. FILs are just guys.

I have quite a few answers for these little thoughts, however these two

came to mind right away:

In regards to:

Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum

cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to

give their vacuum one more chance?

Years ago I believe it was Saturday Night Live who had a thing called

" sniglets " . The sniglet for this problem with the vacuum is actually

called: carpetpetuation

In regards to how come there are no father in-law jokes. Most people

have never met my father in-law. Just three words, he's German, an

ex-cop and an ex-Marine. Use your imaginations. : )
