Guest guest
Jodie - You MUST get ahold of Dr. H. Those b/s are way too high. If you can not reach her - you must find a local Endo if possible. Just a thought. Also, you are not going to like me saying this - but fruit, yogurts, juices - anything with high sugar content is NOT what should be eating. Cheese, protein, complex carbs (whole wheat pasta) is what he needs to help slow down those sugars. Water is essential to help him rid of some of those sugars too. No Milk - that has sugar in it. Once you stabilize his blood sugars for a day or two - then, I would suggest introducing sugars ONLY after he has had a good solid meal of protein and vegetables. Call me sweetie. We are just sitting here resting on the couch if you need me. Okay? Take care please and keep me posted. - H > > hey everyone!! > i have been testing christopher's BS since the afternoon of the 17th > because of his moods and such. here is what they have been: > > 1-17-06 > 4pm-230 > 6:30pm-193 > 8:30pm-266 > > 1-18-06 > 7:20am-147 > 12:45pm-125 > 8:45pm-165 > > 1-19-06 > 7:15am-96 > 11:45am-82 > 2:40pm-244 > 5:35pm-311 > 8:30pm-101 > > 1-20-06 > 7:15am-238 > > > he is all over the place!! what do i do for him when they are > high? i have tried to get him to drink water but he will only take > a few sips!! and what can i give him to eat esp. when he wakes up > and they are high?!?! we go to dr h on feb 7th and i am going to > bring the note book with me for her to see. yesterday when it > jumped from 82 to 244 all he had to eat was a small apple, 3 > strawberries, and a couple of pieces of cereal. > > jodie c >
