Well hmmm sounds like a good time to go for an avocado feast! Or hey,

what about doing the zucchini lasagna with a tomato sauce, no meat?

Have fun and good luck!

Be very afraid. (I have 2 kids who are vegetarians, so trust me on this.)

No matter what, no matter how many ecstatic faces you may see, do not, I

repeat, DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, try the Tofurky. We went this way

last year. Thank the powers above we made a real turkey for those of us who

still believe in the food chain -- I eat just about every vegetarian meat

replacement there is, but Tofurky is a travesty of all that is sacred and

good about Thanksgiving.

Ok, I'm alright now. Saw my Thanksgivings flash before my eyes for a minute

there -- the horror!

book before I go to sleep so I won't have nightmares!!!

I keep offerin' you my tofu lasagna recipe and you keep avoidin' it! LOL!

My prediction for your vegetarian feast: there will be a creation made of

TVP and shaped into a turkey --- yummy! With a miso gravy! and lots and lots

of luscious seaweed stuffing! ROFLMAO!

Seriously though vegetarian dinners can be surprisingly delicious! Nuts,

cheeses, for the protein, soy stuff that can be masked quite brilliantly ... but

you are right, probably carb heavy.

So listen if you ever want to get even with these folk, there's always my

tofu lasagna recipe! It's lethal!

Have a good gobble gobble just the same!
