FYI, to all: I have contacted the principal researchers, to let them

know about the focus of the MAGIC Foundation and the types of issues

our RSS/SGA children face. I also contacted other researchers focused

on Leptin and Ghrelin...It is intriguing to think that a focus on

appetite earlier in life, could perhaps help many parents avoid

needing to make the G-tube decision.

My goal is to find out if there are any trials/studies out there

looking at human, not just mice, implications. OR, if nothing else,

if our RSS/SGA children show abnormal levels of these hormones, it

could help with earlier diagnosis, perhaps even prenatal

intervention. But, just a theory. AS you point out, not too many

conclusive findings yet..but, we have to start somewhere.
