Guest guest
Thanks, Judith! FYI, to all: I have contacted the principal researchers, to let them know about the focus of the MAGIC Foundation and the types of issues our RSS/SGA children face. I also contacted other researchers focused on Leptin and Ghrelin...It is intriguing to think that a focus on appetite earlier in life, could perhaps help many parents avoid needing to make the G-tube decision. My goal is to find out if there are any trials/studies out there looking at human, not just mice, implications. OR, if nothing else, if our RSS/SGA children show abnormal levels of these hormones, it could help with earlier diagnosis, perhaps even prenatal intervention. But, just a theory. AS you point out, not too many conclusive findings yet..but, we have to start somewhere. Katy -Support , " Sidny27 " <heraldjcb@a...> wrote: > > Katy, > > I read that article this morning.
