Jodi - My neighbor just loaned me White Oleander. Just started it -

a little strange. I love the classics. I started Pride and

Prejudice but got thoroughly bored. I'll let you know if I come

across something good.

About Max - gets hives around his mouth ALL the time. He

gets rashes here and there too - always has since a baby. We have

found that he has terribly sensitive skin like me. Even if you

touch it, it will turn red very quickly. We have found that many,

many things will give him the hives around his mouth, mostly foods -

but, sometimes even wiping his chin on his sleeve that may have a

different detergent, etc. Just a thought.

At the risk of butting in...................I can recommend a couple of really

good books! I love to read! One is Summer Sisters and the other is The

Lovely Bones. I just started Good In Bed. It's very funny so far. There. I

put my 2 cents in.

I've read and enjoyed those, too. One of my favorite authors is Jodi

Piccoult. The other is Anne Tyler. I have read all of their books.

But three of my all time favorite books are The Red Tent, Snowflower

and the Secret Fan and one that has Chinese Slippers in the title, but

I can't remember the exact name.

Hey - my dh just responded to you I think. Haven't checked - but, saw

him on the site. I'm dealing with Xander right now. Was on the phone

with the doc trying to confirm the cough medicine I wanted to use was

okay. He's coughing pretty bad. I guess tonight/today was not a good

day for him. It's 10:20 pm and I promised him I would sleep with him

sitting up. He's coughing right now - and I need to go before he

accidently vomits on my couch (not that he was vomiting before - but,

he sounds like he wants to) LOL He's now begging to sit on my lap.

Poor thing doesn't feel good. Gotta go. He's coughing all over my

computer. I'll try to check in tomorrow and see if I got your e-mail.

Night night.

Jodi,

Thanks for telling me about the scholarship! I'll certainly look into

that. First I must become a member of MAGIC.. and we have to get the

money together for that as well. It's a tough time for us.... but there

is a light.....Hopefully it's the end of the tunnel and not an on coming

train! I would love to go to the convention... and I know I would

benefit from it. Is Dayan part of MAGIC? that shows you how much I

know. Thank you again for the info Jodi!

How is Dasia doing since her surgery? I have been thinking about her

often but have, unfortunately, not been able to do a lot of posting. I

am at work right now, I wanted to make it a priority today to email and

ask how she is recovering.

Please give us all an update when you have a minute!

Hoping this finds you well.

Take care

Debby B.
