Guest guest
Thats awesome! I have UC and I have recently (4days ago) cut out gluten and grains and I am feeling alot better. I am eating lactose cheese but I hope as the weeks go on the blood in my bowels go away too. To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Wed, August 18, 2010 4:31:47 PMSubject: good results Hi Everyone. I recently (about 5 days ago) cut out all dairy, all sugar, including honey, all caffeine, and I remain grain free. I also added walnuts to my diet. (Tried beans, but too early--lots of bloating and gas.) I am also following the regimen in "Eat Right for Your Blood Type" and combining that with SCD. The last two days I have had normal BMs and have more energy than I have had in a long long time. Just wanted to pass it on. I am on no meds. Also, today, I have had no blood in the stool. I hope this continues. UC - 4 years SCD - 2 1/2 weeks
Guest guest
Great- keep up the good work!! I also cut out caffeine in the beginning of SCD. (Grains are never legal on SCD.) and I also do better with less honey. I added coffee back in after almost a year. ( I missed it) but I do think it helped to cut it out at first. Guest guest
HI. Yeah, coffee gives me major stomach pains. I think because of the acid, and Type O's have a lot of acid in their stomachs naturally. :-)Thanks for the encouragement. It has been a long haul.Great- keep up the good work!!I also cut out caffeine in the beginning of SCD. (Grains are never legal on SCD.) and I also do better with less honey. Very interesting. I am Type O and I produce no acid whatsoever in my stomach. Or I didn't. I think on the diet I may be making some now because I can eat more protein for the same amount of HCl. But I've been acid-missing most of my life.

Guest guest
No arguments, there. However, be aware that combining another diet with SCD may result in unnecessary restrictions. <smile> At 07:18 PM 8/19/2010, you wrote: Well, it works for me, thank goodness.
