Guest guest
I work for a gentleman who has been on the SCD diet for about 1 month now. He has been suffering from Crohn's for about 20 years. For the past few months (since April) he has had bad flare ups which causes him to suffer from very bad diarreah. He takes 6-mp as well as well as enepril since his kidney's have started to become comprimised from the medication that he has taken in the past as well as the diarreah that is taking a toll on his kidneys. He is also chronically tired and weak. He takes B12 shots monthly and nothing seems to give him much energy. Does anyone have any advice as to how to gain control over his diarreah? He feels very much at the end of his rope. Guest guest
the first thing he needs to do is join this list, so he can be sure he is doing the diet correctly.the diet may take from a few days, up to three months to take effect fully. in that time you can learn alot about your own individual tolerances and which foods you may need to avoid, either temporarily or for good.bentonite clay in a water suspension is a good temporary remedy for diarreah, Great plains makes a good product. (scd legal)probiotics and/or s. boulardi are also very helpful.bestStevecd 1973scd 1998
