Guest guest
Welcome Barb. My first suggestion is that you go to your surgeon and ask to be scoped to make sure that your mechanics are working. Guest guest
Hi all!! I'm a newbie to this group from Scarborough, the east end of Toronto, although I do know some members from my other support group (ossg-toronto-area), and was recommended to come here for some helpful advice and interesting, inspiring people. I had open RNY on September 18, 2002 at Scarborough Grace Hospital, performed by Dr Joffe, (great doctor!). I've had wonderful success with my wls, and I am so greatful for my lifechanging surgery. I'm 5'7 tall, and in April of 2002 I weighed in at my highest weight of 340lbs-350lbs. At surgery I was approximately 310lbs-320lbs and I currently weigh 190lbs. I am so thrilled with my success and I still love telling people what " I used to weigh " , and getting the " no ways!! " , it's still fun to see people's jaws drop to the floor, and show them my pics. Well enough babbling for now!!! Marie Katz
