Bruce - we have 7 1/2 inches now and it's still snowing. Forecast is for 11 degrees low/25 high tomorrow and 13 low/33 high Sunday. Maybe it'll start to melt Monday or Tuesday - but then you're not driving through the mountains, are ya?

Bruce: We liked the effect of rocks on the roads, so we threw them down in several more places. Probably we'll throw some more during this storm. Pretty soon, we'll be back to isolation. ;-)

BarbaraNo mountains for me...especially since you threw rocks on the roads.Normally I would come back through the mountains and then on throughTennessee. Guess if I wanted mountains could go the City routebut I think this time of the year I'll stick to the more southern andless mountainess paths. I've driven through the NC mountains fromChattanooga back to Greensboro during a very very bad ice and snow stormand it wasn't fun.> >> > Hey Beth - are you getting snow? Abba was HUGE when I was in high schoolso it brought back tons of memories for the three of us. (I hadn't seenthe movie) We've had the tickets for over a month so short of theshow being cancelled we were going. The theater is downtown inDurham, maybe 5 or 6 miles away. We were home before the roads got toobad.>>
