Guest guest
Shirley, I wasn't too jubilant for long because I found one last remaining band when I got home today. So now the last 3 are in my mouth. I was amazed with how quick after I had the bands off the teeth started trying to shift again. Also I was having trouble talking without the bands in which I couldn't figure out. You would think it would be the other way around. But it was nice for the few hours without bands to allow the mouth to heal a bit. Another thing I noticed when the bands came off is the the numbness came back and I really don't feel anything again. I don't even feel the wire that is poking my lip. Not sure why all that is, but for now I am not going to complain. Let's just hope the numbness doesn't go away until the wire is fixed..(haha) Now that's a first someone wanting the numbness to stay around!! At least you are able to take your bands off to eat. I guess I could cheat to do this, but my OS really wants them on at all times and I can see why after today. I have a feeling he is going to put on a little tighter bands tomorrow since the jaw shifted so fast after the bands were off. I must of missed that throw of Sara's wine. Geez, I knew I should of bought a bigger glove...(haha) I can't believe you are already seeing your OD. I think I am stuck with my OS for a lifetime..(haha) He has no immediate plans of sending me back to the OD. I would guess due to all my dental complications, he is taking it very slow. I am already 30 months into this process, what's another 40 to 50? I guess I will surely be the caboose in the June group getting back to the OD. Oh well, one day I will wake up from this journey and I will have a big beautiful smile to show for it! Enjoy your evening, --Caboose > Now, now - Don't get too jubilant! (grin).
