Guest guest
I just spoke to Chrissy. Madison has been moved to a private room. She has no fever now, but is very weak. They are hoping that by having her in a room she will be encouraged to color, move around a bit and play. Of course, she is in isolation, so she is limited to just her room. The phone number to the room is . Chrissy has no idea of how long they will be there. They have to wait for the culture to come back so they can identify what staph infection Maddy does have. Meanwhile, they are increasing her potassium and sodium levels and giving her antibiotics. She is not allowed to eat yet. , Chrissy asked me to tell you that she did get the message that you called. They were putting a catheter into Maddy so she was not able to leave to take your call. Please try calling again and she will talk to you since they are in the room now. It's 12:25pm and Chrissy is going to finally take a shower. Poor girl had no Thanksgiving dinner yesterday - only some candy and a salad. Her mom and some others are going up to see her today to bring her food and give her a break. I'll let you know when I have the next update. Guest guest
Oh wow. I haven't been on in a couple days, so I just now saw that Maddy is in the hospital. Poor thing....and Chrissy too. It seems to be never ending for them. Gosh, when is that surgery going to happen? At this point though, I am sure she is not strong enough for it. That poor little girl. Jodi, next time you talk to Chrissy, tell her I am thinking about her and Maddy. I am going to write the number down. I may try to call her today. Gosh, I just can't believe it. Sned them hugs from me, Jodi R. > > I just spoke to Chrissy. Madison has been moved to a private room. > She has no fever now, but is very weak.
