Guest guest
A friend of mine recently told me that her sisters best friend recently had the gastric bypass surgery. When my friend asked her sister about support group meetings, her eating plan, vitamin supplements, etc, the sister said that after like 2 weeks she was eating exactly what she did preop and wasn't on any supplements. The girl was evidently told she didn't have to do supplements and was given no plans or suggestions other then to eat normal food as soon as possible. (I wonder if she even knows what normal eating is.) It was really kind of scary that this college student was so uninformed about something that could change her life. Fortunately my friend knows where the sister and her friend can get the information if they want it. I just hope the kid doesn't wait to long. It makes ya wonder about her surgeon.
