Guest guest
Oh waxing the upper lip must be sheer torture. I've sat soaking in the pedicure chair and watched the ladies come out (rather grimly) of the waxing rooms across from me. Sometimes I'd notice their upper lip areas were beet red, and they had these shell-shocked expressions on their faces. Eyes glazed over heavier than the coating on a krispy creme donut! But at least it's over FAST! Now, if you wanna talk pain, let's talk electrolysis. THAT'S painful! And it's friggin' interminable. Seriously: I had polycystic ovary disease for many years (many MO girls do), as a result of which I became extremely hirsute. It was very debilitating -- VERY. I spent literally HUNDREDS of hours and THOUSANDS of dollars on the electrologists table. Did my " beard " , and my upper lip. My arm hair got heavier too and more profuse. Got hair on the small of my back (what I refer to as my ass hair, close enough!) Leg hair got heavier too. Everywhere but my damn head! (testesterone is mean like that!) Now today there's the laser option, tho I don't know if it's quite as permanent as is electrolysis. For me, waxing is kid's play! BUT I still would dread having to wax my 'stache! Oh the jolts I have known! LOL!
