Guest guest
You most definately SHOULD NOT start doing sit ups! NO ONE should be doing sit ups! While sit ups work wonders on the ab muscles, they are MURDER on the back. Eventually you will have back problems if you do sit ups. NEVER do sit ups! Crunches are fine, esp if you do them right and don't tug on your head as you lift up (that can cause neck strain.) But frankly exercising your abs prior a TT will do nothing to facilitate the TT, except that it's good to exercise your abs in and of itself. This is what my PS told me. I would suggest you stay in good cardiac fitness for your overall recovery. You want to keep up consumption of protein to facilitate healing. Get yourself some firm pillows to prop yourself up because you won't be able to lay flat for a while. Drawstring sweats are a good idea. Expect to be happy and look terrific because you will! Best of luck to you Sherri!
