Hi ,

When I'm hypo-g I get both extremely tired and extremely cranky. First, I

lose my energy (but I wouldn't necessarily classify the loss of energy as

" tired " ), then I become really cranky, then I get really tired (and by tired I

mean completely and utterly exhausted), then I have a full emotional meltdown.

That's pretty much the progression. It's possible that your son needs to eat

sometime in the morning after he gets to school. I can tell you from personal

experience that it's really hard to function during a hyp-g episode, so if

that's your son's problem, I can understand why he just wants to go and lay

down!
