Guest guest
Hi Rae, Dr H would not allow this test to be run on simply because of the amount of fasting it takes. Bran would never be able to sustain his own BS long enough, and she feared that the Drs here would not monitor him closely enough, and allow his BS to drop too far, too fast. (IF the test was to be run, she wanted Bran admitted to the hospital for the entire procedure (fasting included), and the Drs here saw no need of that). BUT Bran's problems are unique in many ways, and I know that other RSS children have had the test run with no problems. Hugs!
