It tends to overgrow in the gut and cause problems. I live in a semi-rural area

too, so I order a lot of items. Legal starter can be purchased from GI prostart

and I think Lucy's Kitchen Shop on line.

Yes Amazon- but be careful. When I started SCD, I accidentally ordered the wrong

kind from Amazon and it is not returnable. I had to rely on SCD sites because I

tended to make some (expensive) mistakes when I first started. I'm sure Amazon

is fine if you are more informed than I was.

I buy the Yogourmet starter from Vitaglo (http://www.vitaglo.com/f2614006.html).

It's only $2.59 per box, and free shipping if you spend $50. I've yet to find

anywhere near a better deal then this! I usually buy 24 boxes at one, since it

makes an even 2 cases :-).
