Please forward the links for this game again. Sorry, thought I had saved it

Hi Keltie,

I'm so sorry about the penguins. :(

The only common denominator I can see so far is that all the email addy's of

the people having trouble are Yahoo.coms. It may just be coincidence, but

until we can figure it out, can you try going back to the home page, scroll down

to the calendar of posts, and click on Feb. 2004. Let's see if you can access

the messages that way in the meantime. Let us know if that way works, OK?

Thanks,

in NJ

Thanks, ! I see it, but it looks like all the settings are correct.

Also, it's grayed out, so I'm thinking only the list owner can make the changes.

We'll have to let play with it when he gets home from work.

I'm afraid to say what I really think of computers because it'll know, and

make me pay!

I am not reading/posting from a Yahoo.com address, and I have the same

problem. No " Messages " item in the list of options on the left, and then

the Most Recent Messages calendar is not live-linked to the messages,

either.

Try this (moderator):

Click Management (on the left)

Click Messages (on the right)

Click Edit in Posting and Archives

Archive Options should be set so that Members have access. I suspect

it's been changed to Moderators or Off.

Click Save Changes.

Click Home and see if it works (and have a regular member try it too).

It's right next to the place to turn the Spam thing off, so I can see

how it could accidentally be changed.

From one Yahoo Group moderator to another, I hope this is easy to fix.

:-)

Thanks, ,

I went into group management to turn the spam-guard off like someone had

requested and just marveled at all of the buttons I hadn't played with

before. I must have tinkered with the archive button, I guess.

So, I set it back and all should be well. I'm sorry to inconvenience or

bring anymore computer anguish into anyone's life! <G>

Re: archives...

Thank you, thank you, thank you for affirming my belief that you must

hide things from these machines. I am afraid to even spell what I

think of them at times! My DH thinks that they are just inanimate

objects that can only perform functions that humans tell them but *I*

know differently. And who knows what they do at night after we go to

sleep?
