i has to put my two cents in here too. in my house it is opp. my afftected child

is the oldest so i fell like we have the advantage here my two younger one have

grow up being carted to thedoc when they were all really little and have beed

there listen to us make decition with him and what treatment to use...ect,ect. i

had to coment on the size different is sibbling asi am sure it is really hard to

have twins and trying to tell people they are really twins because of there size

difference. i had the flip/flop of this my son and daughter are 3 1/2 years

appart and from the time she was about a year old they always were asked if they

were twins and people were really rude when i told them no like grrr..... until

the past 6 or8 months there was just a half in betwween them and i remember the

day that i was looking at them together and seen a real difference in them and

how it felt to see what i was putting him throught was well worth it he now

loves to be the bigger of my children

very emotional about it and resentful when Olivia needs extra care

My husband, Trent, and I try and tag team them and spend some one

on one time with each daily, doesn't always happen but that's just

the way life goes!

The best thing we've found is to get interested in 's

passions... Sometimes painful for my husband to have indepth

discussions on Hillary Duff and that great pink sweater at Wal Mart,

lol, but just shines!! Letting her stay up a bit later

allows us to have a couple hands of cards, scrabble or just veg.

I guess it's not a whole lot of advice since 's so much

older but believe me, you will follow your mother's instincts and

adjust the time according to who needs it most at that time!!

Beth,

It can be tough when they are twins. We have tried very hard to

make sure that Becca and each have time with us. Becca is

very advanced for her age (6) and is totally into Harry Potter. She

and I are able to talk about the books/movies in a way that

can't. Also, although they have the same bedtime, needs more

sleep. Once he is asleep, I try to spend some extra time with Becca.

It was much harder when they were younger, but it is getting

easier. I think it also helps that I have a boy and a girl.
