Guest guest
Dear Sherra, I've tried to email you privately twice, but it was returned. Please edit your replies so that (1) your reply is at the top of the message (which you did) and (2) you " cut " away as much of the original message you're replying to as possible. This post actually includes two complete other messages. Just leave enough of it in so that people know what you're responding to, but we've all read the message before and don't need to read it all again. The reason for this is that large messages are more time-consuming for people to download and they make the digest very difficult to read. If you need some help with this, ask a fellow board member or moderator. It's easy and fun! Thanks for you help, in Austin List Moderator RNY April 1998 What I Did > > > > Okay since we girls are dishing .... here's what I did yesterday to > celebrate > > my LBL. Guest guest
Sherra, take those hairy gams right back to the waxing torture chamber! Listen, I am not lying to you: the first couple of times it is uncomfortable, but as you go along, it becomes progressively less uncomfortable .... I SWEAR! What happens is that you get less regrowth and the hairs that do come back are finer. Take it from someone who has Italian girl simian genes, as far as body hair goes! When I go to the zoo I gotta stay away from the monkey house, cause the other chimps think I am an escapee! The leg waxing is so painless now that yesterday, I was practically falling asleep as she was defoliating my legs. It was actually relaxing LMAO! (not the bikini wax thing, I gotta get used to that, but you know what, even that wasn't so bad. It's over pretty quick! Hey maybe *I'm* the true mutant in the family LOLOLOL!) Okay calling all you fearless waxers out there: Anyone do their pits? My SIL tells me the armpits are the most painful, but when I asked my Wax-Lady, she said that they weren't (she claims bikini is worst). I think I might go and get my pits done, to give the plastic surgeon a nice smooth surface to slice & dice! LOL! Don't want to have one of those thick pit hairs blunt that scalpel! OMG! I am so GROSS sometimes! I am freaking myself out! Before I had my LBL, I got my ass waxed (it's true! ROFL!) Guest guest
, I'm not stupid and I do not need any help. I have already emailed saying that I already do this most of the time and sometimes I feel it's a judgement call on whether or not one needs to include the background. And sometimes..*OH NO* it's an accident. Did you not read that email? This one was an accident you can hang me now. There are worse things one can do honestly on an email list. I've already apologized for when I forget to do it..in this forum...but this is getting crazy to get an email pointed to me every time I forget. Are you going to need an apology after every single one I mess up on or ones that you feel I included too much? I just do not need this pettiness in my life. What is going on with these lists of nitpicking by some mods? Your private emails to me have included that you are going to sensor me if I do not stop making mistakes, those weren't the exact words but they sure implied it. I didn't appreciate that threat, especially after I assured you even in this forum that I was not doing it on purpose and was sorry. I understand the role of a moderator and I usually back them on anything but there comes a time when it goes to far. If you must feel that you have to email me every single time that you do not feel it appropriate that I left a whole message or what not and you are going to nitpick me and put me on moderation, then it may be time for me to move on. Maybe it's time for me to just go....if you feel you *must* enforce it and you *must* send me an email threatening moderation each time you disagree with my length. Man you'd think I went around cussing in every single one....nuts. Normally I'd have just sent this to you but since public embarassment is what you chose to do to me, I thought it was only appropriate that my response was in the same forum. Depending on how this is handled, I'll either stay or go. If my apology of forgetting was not good enough that I already sent and moderation is still being threatened, then yes, it's time for me to go. If I go I'll be on the other two lists anyway and will catch good stuff there. Sherra Re: What I Did > Dear Sherra, > > I've tried to email you privately twice, but it was returned. Guest guest
I had my armpits waxed regularly for a couple years...It is not bad at all...in fact, I've had my upper lip done many times, and that's more painful than the armpits. I had my lower legs done once.....can you say OWWWWWWW!!!! and it didnt even get rid of all the hair. so back to shaving the legs. Now I use Nair on the pits cause I'm too cheap to fork out the cash for the armpits.....rather spend that money on clothes!!! -Amy Okay calling all you fearless waxers out there: Anyone do their pits? I got a new tattoo last week and its on the lower spine, like the small of your back - it was much more painful than any of the others I've gotten over the years - no fat or padding I guess..... sue

I'm a little behind on posts; are you having a brachioplasty? If so, don't wax ahead of time. My surgeon was able to remove quite a bit of hair follicle/skin and he said it was helpful that I was shaved and not waxed because he could see the area better and get more hair-growing-skin off. Of course, my balding husband said " Save that stuff and out it on my head. " LOL. hugs, Ann better
