Guest guest
I am 3 weeks out from surgery to correct bowel obstruction. Bowel looped & strangulated caused from scar tissue. Surgeon removed about 2 feet a short distance from pouch. I am 3 years from RNY. This is my 2nd time for this. First time 1 1/2 years ago, no surgery, just treated and obstruction cleared. How common is recurrence? Surgery wasn't done by bariatric doc (mine moved). Should I be under care of bariatric surgeon? How does 2 feet removed (in addition to bypass) affect weight and nutrition? Any advice appreciated! THanks.
