Guest guest
HI All Page 79 of BTVC says " There is NO SPECIFIED SCHEDULE for introducing foods WITH THE EXCEPTION OF HOMEMADE YOGHURT " I haven't been able to find the Schedule for Introducing Homemade Yoghurt. I know someone out there has the solution to this one!! TIA Anne-Marie Canberra, Australia IBS 2007 SCD 14 weeks
Guest guest
After the intro is done (maximum of 5 days), you can begin the yogurt but in small amounts per day, like a FEW teaspoons, slowly building up to a maximum of 3 cups a day, depending on tolerance levels. If you are allergic to cow's milk and its protein 'casein' you can try goat's milk instead - it's protein is much easier to digest. (Children on the autism spectrum who are following SCD, are recommended to use goat's milk yogurt, and to begin about 3-6 months - depending on individual tolerance levels - after the intro, with just 1/8th teaspoon a day).
