Guest guest
We stayed at the hospital residence Hotel and it was fine. The room was extremely large. My friend who lives in NY said it was bigger than her last studio! There was even a kitchenette so you could cook there if you wanted to. It was fairly reasonable - I think around $150 for the two of us with one queen bed. Our appt. was 3 hours long plus another hour of waiting and we were the first appt. of the day. Good luck! Guest guest
We too stayed at the residence and it was across the street, easy access to the appointment and very economical. NY is quite expensive otherwise. - H > > > > Hello everyone- > > > > We have an appointment to see Dr. H on April 7th and I have been > > looking into hotel rates and geez it's high!!! Guest guest
, My husband has made a note of your request. He will ask Dr. H. tomorrow. I won't be home until later in the evening, so it will be after 9pm when I give you her answer. Jodi Z

Guest guest
Mimi, I took my daughter Sydney to see Dr. H in early December last year and we also stayed at the Guest Residence Inn. Not having been to NY previously, we were wanting to be as close to the doctor's office as possible. We found that with the street vendors, the hospital cafeteria & vending machines, the shops up the street...food and snacks were easy to locate. We also had an 8:30 am appointent and we ended up there for 4 hours. I didn't expect that...so I would plan on a later afternoon flight or early evening if you're flying out that same day. As far as the hotel itself...let me just say that the front desk staff is very nice, and the room is large. The kitchenette was great! Everything was adequate...I was just irritated that sometimes light switches didn't work, some outlet plugs didn't work, the bathtub plug didn't work, the hot water was tricky to find, etc. Nothing major though, and if you're just staying 1 night - I'd say give it a shot. It's very affordable for NY, it seems like. We're returning to see Dr H in May and we've chosen another hotel, since we stay a few extra days for sightseeing. Guest guest
Hello! I don't know how much help my information will be...but I took my daughter to see Dr. H just short of 2 months ago. Since we live out of state/out of insurance networking, I was billed directly from the office. It was $500 for the consultation, plus an additional $250 because we went overtime on our visit. Our visit was a little over 4 hours long. I submitted the bill to my insurance for a claim, so I'm REALLY hoping they'll help me out on that bill! I suspected it would be expensive...but that was a big surprise to me. We didn't run any tests...it was just a consultation to get background information and a plan on my daughter's feeding and physical therapy needs.
