Guest guest
Well done Mark Glad it all went OK --- mvelez1984 wrote: --------------------------------- Hello everyone! I got back from surgery yesterday, but I was too out of it to function right. The surgery was to correct my crossbite and underbite. I feel alright, though very swollen and unable to talk. There is a mild pain associated with the tension of the wires. Otherwise, it went okay. I also feel this constant headache, which I think will subside with time. My favorite thing to do is brush my teeth because I can see that they are in the correct position. I should be putting up pics soon! Guest guest
Hi Mark, It sounds like you are doing well and pleased with the initial results of the surgery. I am always amazed when I see someone post the very next day post op! That is amazing! It is wonderful that you ara already able to see the improvement in your teeth position! Will definately watch for your pics. I hope the headache resolves soon. Have you mentioned this to your OS? Maybe there is something he can do about this for you. Glad to see your post! Guest guest
- - I'm happy to hear that your surgery went well and that your Surgeon found the problem. I'm sure you are relieved that it wasn't anything more serious than a loose plate and screws, although that is serious enough. Hope your pain meds have kicked in sufficiently and you are on your way to a complete recovery. Rest up and take care of yourself. All the best to you. ~~~ Diane-- In orthognathicsurgerysupport , " georgek042003 " <georgek042003@y...> wrote: > > Hi All, > > I just got back home from surgery. Guest guest
, Well thank goodness this 2nd surgery is done and over with. I hope those painkillers have kicked in and that you are now in LaLa land pain free and resting. Did the doctor give you any reason for why the plate came loose? Will you be alright without the plate? What next? So many questions and no need for me to be pestering you so much, now that you need to rest up and recover in peace. I'm just so glad that you got through this 2nd surgery alright, despite the pain. Sending you a big virtual hug Caboose. Sara > > Hi All, > > I just got back home from surgery.
