Guest guest
, I am sorry that you are having such a hard time. I hope everything improves soon. When you say relapse, what is relapsing? ~Rene > > Hello, > > > > Today I saw my ortho so we could get the brace fixed and stop any further teeth movement. Guest guest
Hi , How are you doing with everything? Sounds like your doctors are monitoring your case carefully. What will your surgery next week be? I know you mentioned needed another surgery for your lower jaw. Will they be doing that surgery the week after next?! We will all be waiting to hear the results of your scan (not half as much as you are, of course!) and I'll be cheering you on that the results are the best possible! I'm sorry you've still got an infection going... I know that's been a problem for you for quite a while. I hope your bands really help with the relapse and resolve it quickly and easily. You have an amazing attitude about everything you are facing and are definitely inspiring to the rest of us. I know that isn't much comfort though, huh?! I've been thinking about you. Take care, Katja > > Hello, > Today I saw my ortho so we could get the brace fixed and stop any further teeth movement. Guest guest
Hi Katja, I'm doing okay thank you, i'm very tired and fed up with everything I ca't wait to get things back on track once again! My doctors are monitoring my case carefully which is great as things change so quickly. My next surgery will be to remove some of the hardware that's infected and causing problems and also to take another look inside. He doesn't know yet if he will do something else it all depends on the scan. My surgeon thinks it would be too soon to do lower jaw surgery now what with the ongoing problems I have and doesn't want to risk the infection spreading further. But if I continue ot relapse then he may do it. I have had the infection for a while and want it all cleared up so I can get back to work adn to soem normality. I can't wait until the swelling goes down and my face will look more " even! " now I look like chipmunk (due to the infection). I am slowly getting used to my bands but they will take some getting used to as i wasn't banded or splinted shut post-op. Thank you for your encouraging words! __________________________________________________
Guest guest
HI , You definately have had a rough go round. I will keep my fingers crossed for you next week too. And I hope the antibiotics can get ahead of this as well. Please let us know what you find out. Hugs, Fran > > Hello, > > > > Today I saw my ortho so we could get the brace fixed and stop any further teeth movement.
