Guest guest
Hey Jodi, Thanks. THAT is the biggest problem. Austin is not tube fed, so we have to find something that tastes halfway decent, or at least something like " normal " formula! Austin's also going through the stage where he's too " busy " to sit down and eat, and that's not helping. I suggested that they make at least two " regular mealtimes " (like maybe breakfast and dinner) where Austin HAS to sit in his highchair for the duration of the meal, even if he refuses to eat. Right now they're allowing him to get down as soon as he says he's done, so he might take one or two bites, and then he's off playing again. We've found with , that a lot of times he won't want to sit down for a meal, but if we stick to our guns, and make him sit at the table with us for the duration, he'll start picking at his food just for something to do! LOL Thanks again for letting me know that PeptaMin Jr can be used with these types of allergies. Talk to you soon Pat
Guest guest
Pat, PLEASE check with the doctor before you try Peptamen, Jr. I know it was okay for Max, but I'd feel terrible if you tried it with Austin and he got sick.
