Guest guest
Hi, and I talked. Baby Jordan 5.5 mo is in the hospital at Summit Overlook (?) Hospital in NJ. She basically stopped eating. The drs. have brilliantly told the mom " to relax " as that would fix things! She is in need of support, she hasnt had much time to read the emails I didn't think b/c she and her husband are trading shifts at the hospital but she did say she had recevied several messages and emails. So if anyone knows Summit Overlook Hospital she will be there tommorrow or you can email her or leave her a message or even try calling the hospitals pedi ward. She has secured an appt with Dr. H next week. Tonight she said she was going to sleep as she and her husband have been feeding Jordan every 2 hours since birht and they are both exhausted. > > Hi All, > Just spoke with a parent of a 5.5 month old girl, weighs 10 pounds, > small head size, so diagnosis is SGA. Guest guest
, Jodi, and others: THANK YOU!!! I am sure that and her husband will find great strength from your voices (electronic or otherwise!). This is the POWER of this listserve in action. Hopefully, the family will be able to " enjoy " the holiday weekend and then find even more wisdom from Dr. H. next week. Thanks again, everyone.. Katy > > Hi, > > and I talked. Guest guest
Overlook Hospital is 15 minutes from my house. I wonder what town lives in? I don't know her last name, so I can't call the hospital. Please, if you talk to her, give her my phone number, if you have it, and I will email her, too. Or give me hers and I will call. Actually, she can have my cell phone number: . Jodi Z
Guest guest
One more thing: The GI team at Overlook is the same team that we use at town Memorial Hospital. I love them, except for the female doctor in the practice. They know about RSS, Dr. H's protocol, etc. is lucky. They will consult and work with her if she requests it. I can't wait to talk to her! Guest guest
I'm finally finding time to check the listserve. I am about 25 minutes from Overlook. Please give my work number (since I will be there tomorrow ). If anyone talks with her and she wants someone to talk to let me know how I can get a hold of her. Also, if you know when her Dr. H visit is please let me know. We have a Dr. H appointment on Wednesday 12/28 at 9:30. I'm sorry for not keeping up with all of you and your families. I will read on and hope you are all doing well. I miss you all so much.
