I just came back from Europe and I have to go back in October and it is very expensive now because of the euro.

There are bargains and if you take the metro instead of taxis and walk a lot and buy your food at the supermarket it is not so expensive.

I was in germany and it was very expensive.

I lived in Italy, in the northern part.

What part are you going to?"beckacriss@..." <beckacriss@...> wrote:

I found these great high protein, low sugar (because that is still a problem with gf things) bars at Whole Foods. They are hemp bars made by Living Harvest (check 'em out at http://livingharvest.com/). I have found them both at the and Cupertino Whole Foods and they can special order at other Whole Foods. The "salad bar" is not sweet and a bit of an acquired taste. The "forbidden fruit" is a little more palatable for newbies, but they are loaded with protein. I have a problem with all carbs where my body goes into a bit of insulin shock if I have too many carbs or have any on an empty stomach so these are a Godsend. I plan to pack a whole box when I leave for Italy in a few weeks!Speaking of Italy, does anyone have tips for travel in Italy or Europe in

general?Thanks!
