Guest guest
Hi, I am 5 days home from having one fixed. This was my third one and I had no pain at all from any of them! this one was huge. It was incisional and 30 cm in length and 10 cm in width. I had it fixed lap and the doc told me if it could not have been fixed lap it would have been a very serious operation. I am feeling very sore but happy I had it plus the panniculectomy done/ Lost 8 1/2 lbs of fat and fat.....ugh. I had to have anohter belly button made and I hope it makes it. It doesn't look so good. love marilyn in WV
Guest guest
You know, I just had my first post op panni appt today (my panni was 9 days ago)...and I finally asked " how much did my skin weigh? " I didn't see the regular PS but his assistant instead. He looked it up and it wasn't noted anywhere he could find. He did tell me that he was there during my surgery and he remembered that " you were fairly unique in that your's was literally ALL skin, no fat under there...you lost all your fat " , LOL. Who woulda thunk that? Also, I talked to another nurse about the binder situation...she was extremely nice and helpful. Gave me a number to call to talk to the woman's supervisor...and said that this is not the first she heard of this particular nurse being rude. Said it is an ongoing problem with that nurse. And the best part, she gave me a perfect fitting binder, after the hell I have gone through with these last two ones. I will be calling on Monday. Many thanks to all that responded to my binder dilemna. ~Kricket > I am feeling very sore but happy I had it plus the panniculectomy done/ Lost
